The answers to our ‘I spy S’ quiz are now available here. We had a total of 61 entries, of which 44 came from Somerset and 17 from elsewhere in the UK. One person came out the clear winner with 99 points – Barry Chapman, from Martock, so our congratulations go to him. There were 2 runners-up with 98½ points: Pam Bagley, from Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, and Chris Chantler, from Bath. Stephen Allen, of Huish Episcopi, was close behind, with 98.
This quiz made a record total of £377 for the History Society, so we are very grateful to everyone who supported us by buying a quiz sheet. Our next quiz will be available at the end of February.
