People

In this ‘Hall of Fame’ section we celebrate people with connections to Langport, Huish Episcopi, Curry Rivel and other local areas who achieved a national or an international reputation.  By ‘connections’ we mean people who were born here, lived here, died here or even – in some cases – just visited the area.  Whether they became household names or were just local legends, their stories deserve to be better known.
